Description
Requirements
The Grumman Traveler AA-5 model was the predecessor to the Grumman Tiger AA-5B. It is a four-seat, low-wing, fixed-gear, sliding canopy model powered by a Lycoming O-320 150 HP engine. Cruising speed is approximately 120 kts fully loaded. The Traveler was produced from 1971 to 1975. Fun and easy to fly, the Traveler was used as a civilian touring and training airplane, although it was not as popular for training due to its slightly unusual behavior on landings (the Traveler was known to "float" if landed with excessive speed).
Our version of the Traveler for X-Plane is great for those who enjoy radio navigation and VFR flight. The Traveler does not have a GPS (try our Tiger model if you prefer a GPS). The Traveler does have an autopilot and is capable of performing ILS localizer approaches and VOR tracking, as well as roll and pitch control.
Requires X-Plane 10.50 or newer. Compatible with X-Plane 11 (any version).

Century I "Navtracker" autopilot integrated with the Turn/Bank Indicator provides roll/ pitch and VOR/Localizer tracking
