The teams at Turbulent Designs and Keystone Games bring you the superb Angwin-Parrett Field. Located in the small town of Angwin in Napa County, Northern California, USA, it is also known as Virgil O. Parrett Field or Angwin Airport.
The airport itself is situated atop a hill at 1,848ft ASL, making the approach and departure particularly scenic. Just a small number of aircraft are based at Angwin, using its 3,217ft runway. The surrounding area has many valleys and vineyards to explore.
This package contains an additional bonus airfield – Pope Lake, located to the north.

Every environment is populated with efficient 3D library objects; each helps to provide a sense of activity close to that of the real location. Immediate areas are enhanced with our new Real Flora technology, consisting of a wide variety of vegetation carefully adapted to match local conditions.
The wider area is improved with points of interest, visual reference points, landmarks and accurate autogen placement.
High Resolution 3D models
All of the products are passionately crafted to accurately recreate real world locations, paying special attention to the small details. All major buildings and unique elements are precisely modelled with high resolution geometry, providing customers with the most immersive experience possible.
High Definition textures
HD Textures create the most realistic representation of all assets used in the products. On top of that Turbulent make use of advanced ambient occlusion and lighting techniques, specular maps, emissive maps and custom environment maps. Combined that the high resolution geometry and you get a highly believable simulation world.
All real world charted ground materials, markings and visible elements are clearly represented in the products. Turbulent add a calculated measure of wear and tear dependent on the type of area, which provides a credible rendition of all airport surfaces.
Turbulent have developed, alongside White Digital Simulations, a highly realistic vegetation library and advanced placement method. This library includes a range of beautifully crafted grass and trees which make a huge difference in how the airports look.
Photo Real Imagery
All of the Turbulent airport environments are complemented by the highest quality satellite imagery available to a minimum of 25 square kilometers. Turbulent process this imagery adding local seasons and compatibility with pre-existing regional add-ons in that area.
Turbulent have their own new autogen process which allows them to cover even larger areas of dense tree coverage. Turbulent have combined these with their own stunning HD autogen tree textures to add a whole new level of realism.
